Pressing Arrow Key Moves Cursor to Next Character in MS Access 2013

As per MS Access 2013’s default configuration, every time you press and arrow key while being in a cell, the cursor is automatically moved to the next field of the record. Also, when you press the Enter key on the keyboard, the cursor is either moved to the next field, or to the next record that the table may have.

The above scenario can be experienced when MS Access Is 2013 has been set to its default configuration and its settings are not tampered with or modified anyhow. However, the situation may differ if the settings are changed either deliberately or accidentally. As this case says that whenever the arrow key is pressed from within a selected cell, the cursor moves towards the next character instead of moving to the next field of the table. When this is the case, you can easily rectify the issue by going to the Access Options box that you can access without any administrative intervention.

Although modifying such settings in MS Access 2013 is a very simple task, you are strongly suggested to follow the steps described in this tutorial exactly the way they are mentioned. In case you do not know what you are doing, or if you are unable to understand this tutorial, you can consult any nearby technician who can help you resolve the issue either on a phone call or via live chat.
