Problems getting Radeon R7 M260 Graphics Card to work

I have an HP laptop with Radeon R5 and Radeon R7 M260 GPUs. When I go to play games, I want the dedicated GPU to activate (R7) but for some reason, it never works. I go into device manager and it always lists as both enabled. I've tried everything, including installing the latest drivers and disabling the R5, and when I go to configuring the switchable graphics, I try to use High Performance setting but nothing works. I don't know how to get the R7 working, and I really don't know much about computers either. Any answer helping would be fine.

First off, how do you know that the R7 GPU isn't the one that's active?

Second, try uninstalling all drivers for the R5 GPU. This should prevent the system from being able to access that chip.
