Problems with my Toshiba Satellite A105 no audio

I have no audio. The laptop had XP installed and there was no sound. I decided to upgrade to Win 7 and still have no audio. The Device mgr in System says "Working properly" Anyone have a suggestion. Is there a sound cad I can replace?
