Process multiple word files at the same time

Hello, I have over a hundred Word files that I would like to print out with each one showing their file extension somewhere on the page (either header or footer I'm guess are the only options). The difficulty is that I think I have to open each file and put a header on each one individually. My question, is there a program or a way to put the file extension header on each file for all the files in one quick batch process? Or, is there a better way?

I meant to say put a file pathname on each file, not an extension.

If you turn on the print seperator page in the printer I think it will print out the document path, but on a separate sheet between the documents not on the document itself. I am not sure if the above software will actually print out on the document.
