http/www.evillabs.net/tivo discusses a method. It covers one or two
of the details not as well as you could want, but there's a good thread
from a week or two ago in here that discusses what it misses pretty well.

I've used Nero with the Tivo to Go functionality, but it only works
once in a while.. Most times it comes out scrambled.
