Projection on old TV won't work with my PC

Hello ,
I got an old TV with only VGA Port. So i bought a hdmi=> VGA converter . I have an Asus Rogue with Intel HD Graphic 530 and Windows 10 and have no signal on the TV. My roomate have also an Asus Rogue , but with Intel HD Graphic 4000 and Windows 8 , and the TV project is working with his PC !
Have you any suggestions on the problem I'm dealing with?

Problem solved, I had to go to the Intel Graphic Panel, center the screen and lower the resolution to 1024*768
Hope this will help somebody!
