With the cheap projectors that don't support Dolby, it seems they play no audio and the manufacturers say to change the source to PCM to fix. But if my source (Firestick) is plugged to my Yamaha RX-V583 Receiver on HDMI IN, and the receiver passes signal through to the Cheap projector (e.g. Crenova XPE760) via HDMI OUT, could I still play a Dolby-encoded source, and have the Receiver play the 5.1+ Audio and the projector play just the video?
What configuration would I need to set in: The Source ((e.g. Firestick), The Receiver (Yamaha RX=V583) and Projector (eg Crenova XPE760... or Bomaker or... any of the sub $150 projectors)?
Thanks in advance.

Thanks @americanaudiophile . This could be game-changer on the entry-level price point I can live with. Obviously resolution and brightness are compromises that come at a price, but if I can mitigate the Dolby audio unsupported issue, that gives me more options.
