Proximity sensor not working

Hello,

I've recently accidently dropped my phone (LG Nexus 5X) at work and the screen crackred, not a big deal got insurance on it.
One thing that bugs me that proximity sensor (the little sensor which blacks out the screen while ur talking on the phone so that u won't press anything) doesn't work anymore.It just black's out instanly some calls and i can't hang up anything as long as the call goes on, when the person hangs up it goes back to normal. The crack gone above the sensor so i though maybe that is the problem or is not? Im not really sure.

When you contact the manufacturer about the crack, mention the sensor. It probably was damaged when the drop happened as well.
