Proxy Detection Software

I'm building a domain in my vo-tech school for the class, and the teacher would like to know whenever someone attempts to use a proxy. Does anyone know of a good software that will detect when a proxy is being used and send an alert?

Not sure about the details with respect to your assignment and environment. I.e., some specific requirements about the detection and alerting process.

However the natural starting point would be to "proxy detection software" or similar wording.
