PS3 Audio Connection

I have a PS3, but I want to connect it to my 27" HP monitor (I have tested it, and it works), the problem is that the monitor does not have built in speakers. And because for some reason the PS3 does not have a 3.5mm output (because my speaker does not have optical), I am looking for some sort of adapter to connect to the back of the PS, and then convert the audio to a female 3.5mm, so I can run it to the speak.

Any adapters that you can point me to. I am looking to keep it cheap, I do not need anything fancy, just something so I can hear.

if your monitor have mini jack output - usually it's for headphone out and hook i there. this is if you are using HDMI connecting the units. otherwise use the other cable provided sony and all you need is stereo female rca to 3.5 mm female jack.
