question about mcafee etc.

Wondering if I can install anti software like this on a chromebook? I keep reading I can't, so I haven't jumped at it, but I have two chromebooks at home that I'd like to put something like this on that are my girls'.

Some chrombooks can use android apps from play store now/soon right?
Macafee have an internet security app for tablets/phones
Might be the sort of thing you're looking for?
I had it on my note 10.1 but had to uninstall as the part of its program to speed up your device by "cleaning" up your cache and unwanted data was constantly writing more data and not deleting its own cache...
Ended up taking up over 3GBs of storage space, didn't see a benefit from it
Maee my tablet stupidly slow
This may not be what happens in your case, there may also be many other "app" options
