Question on Alienware LED Lights

I was wondering if the Alienware lights could be controlled by command line or some quicker way the alienfx that takes a really long time and can use maybe a desktop shortcut to change the lights. I wanted to make my own application cause I want to get into scripting but I want to know if this is possible first.

depends on the led and the controller. newer led controllers and rgb light strips can change colors to set patterns by them selfs or with sound. it up to how the controller is programed.

Im not sure what you mean by hue? I have the Alienware M15x if that helps lol

Ok nvm I see that you need a controller but I was thinking more like manipulating the AlienFX program to use that
