Well im shopping for a great gaming laptop out there and i found one that alot of people like:

http://www.avadirect.com/product_details_parts.asp?PRID=17757

then I searched for better prices and found

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=34-220-821&SortField=0&SummaryType=0&Pagesize=10&PurchaseMark=false&SelectedRating=-1&VideoOnlyMark=false&VendorMark=&IsFeedbackTab=true&Keywords=%28keywords%29#scrollFullInfo

Wow $1793 to $999 (sale) !? But wait! I start reading the reviews and now im quite scared about buying this laptop from new egg.. I read the AVA Direct review. all 5/5 and great service.......

Is the laptop from new egg the same as the one i found on google shop? ~ (AVADirect)
And if so, should i just pay more money for a safer laptop ?

Solution
Hello xmuzzyx1;

I'm not too thrilled about either choice. The NewEgg models is used/recertified and the AVADirect G73Jh-X3 is using an older CPU/GPU combo.
If you're thinking about spending $1700 - you can do better IMO.

@ AVADirect you can get a MSI GT683R-242US Notebook $1660
With that Core i7-2630QM 2.0GHz Sandy Bridge CPU and Nvidia GTX 560M graphics card you'd get a nice little bump up in performance and spend less.

How much do you want to spend?

hmm well yea about that 1700 ~ range,

i dont play too many hard core games ~ so if i buy this laptop will i be able to run WoW on max + smooth gameplay ?
I dont mind if the laptop is over kill for WoW because if it is thats even better kuz i am considering to find even more games xD !

EDIT: Holy crap just saw a bench mark xD ! ! It rocks ! :bounce: :bounce: Thanks so much for telling me about it ! BTW ~ Care to tell me what i should do from now on when buying tech gear (mabye for finding a better value )

An even better price on the a MSI GT683R-242US $1500

Roughly the same performance @ $1220 Sager NP8130
i7-2630QM CPU & GeForce GTX 560M graphics card

Sager NP5165 customized notebook. Starting price $869 for Core i5-2410M dual core Sandy Bridge CPU and Geforce GT 555M graphics.
Configured with i7-2360QM quad core CPU, 500GB 7200rpm HDD and 15.6" 1920x1080 LCD w/GT 555M graphics about $959.

NVIDIA GeForce GT 555M graphics card review
It's a step down in graphics card power - but not TOO big a step. At a nice price savings.
It should run Wow:Cataclysm nicely on ultra settings.
