Quicklaunch buttons flicker when moved

I have had this laptop for years and the issue started a few months ago. I'm trying to sell it, but want to fix this issue first..

The quick launch LEDs will flicker and open and open up presentation mode when moderate pressure is placed on the bottom left below the keyboard (possibly where the hdd sits?). Not sure if it could just be the hdd being loose or something else? Any thoughts on potential solutions?

Since you'll be selling the laptop soon, have you already tried doing a factory reset with it?

If the same problem will persist, do try opening the laptop and make sure that the keyboard ribbon cable is properly seated on the motherboard. You can try to reseat the ribbon cable, remove both ends from the keyboard and motherboard then put it back in then observe if the same problem will persist or not.
