rare problem HP Elite notebook

I am frustrated because every time I click on a folder or file, the name disappears. The choice is completed, but it is disconcerting not to see the name of anything I am trying to access. Have searched HP site and support assistant but nothing shows up

This is everywhere? Did you change the default fonts/spacings/icon distance, anything like that?

I did enlarge the text size because it was too small for me that's all. This is a refurbished notebook that I purchased a couple of weeks ago

What happens when you change it to default size? Was it a clean Windows setup on the system?
