rca cable connected ilive soundbar to Vizio e422a

I have a vizio e422ar TV and want to connect an ilive 37" soundbar by rca cable. The bar turns on, swtches to aux mode per instructions, but nothing happens.

Check the TV audio menu. You may have to the output on and turn the TV speakers off to get it working.
