I WOULD LIKE HELP FIXING THIS BIG SCREEN TV. IT IS DEAD AND I HAVE NO SERVICE MANUAL. JUST A PLACE TO START WOULD HELP, EVERYTHING I CHECK SEEMS TO BE OK.

Most likely the flyback transformer is shot. The entire power deflection board can be rebuilt - best option. I use an outfit called PTS. 800-844-7871

As always, a reminder about high voltage and man's natural allergy to it: unless you are very comfortable tearing your set's high voltage assemblies apart, CALL FOR SERVICE.
