Solved! RCA Galileo Pro 11.5" 2-in-1 Tablet with Keyboard - Screen Won't Rotate On Newly Installed Apps

Hi-

I just got the tablet new.

Specs:
RCA Galileo Pro 11.5" 2-in-1 Tablet with Keyboard Case Android 6.0 (Marshmallow)
Manufacturer Part Number: Rct6513w87dk B

First off, the tablet does not have the usual pull down menu at the top of the screen like most android phones do with a selection of icons to turn off and on, no wifi icon, no bluetooth icon, no airplane mode icon, and no autorotate icon...

That said, I checked the tablets settings and auto-rotate is on.

Also, all the pre-installed apps on the RCA ROM auto-rotate fine... so auto-rotate is working on the stock apps.

However, new apps I have downloaded from the play store and installed will not auto-rotate.

I powered the tablet down and turned back on, and the new apps still won't rotate.

Any ideas/suggestions?

The apps you are trying to rotate may not have the ability to rotate. Not all apps do. I would check with the app's creators.
