Specifications:
HP 2000 Notebook PC. Windows 7 (64 bit).

My office laptop had typical restrictions of USB ports being blocked, etc.
Now I bought the laptop from my company for my personal use but the USB port restrictions are still in place.

How do I remove these restrictions?

Already tried:
All the methods mentioned at https://www.thewindowsclub.com/disable-enable-usb-windowunlock-pen-drive-at-office-or-school-computer

Appreciate your help on this.

P.S. I have access to the admin account on my PC

You would actually have more fruition by contacting the IT guy responsible to putting the restrictions in place. You will need to gain access to your BIOS which I'm certain is also under lock and key due to your IT guy.

Hey. Thanks for your reply.
I agree that reaching out to the admin is the best solution but I am no more associated with the company and bought this laptop while leaving the company.

Do you think I can check if the BIOS is in lock as well so that I can confirm the same here?
