After upgrading my motherboard i still had my old audio drivers installed and everything worked as before but i wanted to install the native more updated drivers, so i went ahead and downloaded the latest audio driver from my MB manufacturer. After a PC restart the audio played through my speakers (i have my headset plugged in simultaneously and those were set as default) and i was no longer able to change default speakers to my headset in the playback devices tab because my new drivers made the audio jacks be recognized as one playback device.

I went to the control panel to open the Realtek audio manager but noticed it was gone? Since then i haven't been able to get it back, i have tried installing the old drivers and uninstalling the new ones but none of that works.
I would be so grateful if anyone could find a solution for this since i use my speakers and headset equally as much!

Speakers are plugged in in the front panel and headset in the motherboard, if that matters.
I upgraded from a GA-B150M-DS3H DDR3 motherboard to a ASUS Sabertooth z170s.

CPU:Intel - Core i5-6600K
Motherboard: Asus Sabertooth Z170 S
Ram: Corsair Vengeance LPX 8GB DDR4 2666MHz
OS: Windows 10 64bit

2| Have you made sure your motherboard BIOS is up to date?

3| Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling your audio drivers? You might want to try the drivers found off Realtek's support site.

2: Yes i flashed BIOS right after i installed the motherboard.

3. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling both the old and new drivers and i got the old drivers from realtek's website, their latest driver is the one i had before.
