reboot and select proper boot device samsung laptop

my step sons laptop has just came up with this and looking on here I have followed a few things and from what I can see there is no sata hdd as it says n/a in the boot thing. Any help would be gratefully appreciated he said he hasnt done nothing to it it just came on.

Although this can be one of a few issues, it is most usually the result of a hard drive failing, unfortunately.
