Recalls on hp pavilion laptops dv7-1245dx

is the crashing motherboard the reason that my screen went out completely? and this is the second time i also had to return this model for repair which i still had under warranty. it still wound up costing me $300.00 dollars was there a recall on this model for these flaws???????

Only recall on dv7 motherboards occurred early on and were related to a flaw in the SATA ports. Google 'Cougar Point recall' for more info.
It's not related to your display failure issue.
