Hello,
My current setup is my satellite directly to my TV and then optical audio from the tv to the sound bar. I want to add my blu-ray player and x-box but keep it to one HDMI cable going to the TV that is above the mantle but I want to add my record player as well so I will be adding a receiver instead of an HDMI splitter. If I add my record player to this setup, through the receiver, will it play through the sound bar as well?

I doubt that the receiver would send the audio from your TT to the TV. It would expect you to want sound from the speakers connected to the receiver. I would suggest you use an HDMI switcher for your video sources and a wireless audio transmitter/receiver combo for the TT.

Your TT will have to have a built in phone preamp for this to work. You may not be happy with the sound quality on LPs with the soundbar so try a direct connection to the TV to see if it is satisfactory.
