I'm trying to record audio from the PS4's controller on my computer. I did this by getting TRS male-to-male cable and connecting it from the controller to the computer audio jack.
However, this did not work. I later found out that my computer takes in TRSS for its audio jack, so I guess my computer thought it was supposed to send audio.
I tried this on another computer which had 2 ports (one for headphones and the other for mic) and it worked.
Does anyone know how I should record this?
(BTW I'm trying to record on the HP Envy 15, JIC the horrible Beats Audio software is the problem. I tried uninstalling it and no audio worked)
