Red Keys on keyboard - modification possible?

Hi, a bit unusual this one.
I have a Asus X550JX laptop. The letters, numbers etc on the keyboard keys are red (black background) rather than the usual white. There just isn't enough contrast, something not obvious when I bought it in the shop, and I can't see them in anything but good light conditions!
I happen to have some model paint so that I could literally DIY the keys but is there a neater way?

No, not that I know of. Does yours?!

Sorry, I don't own that model, for the backlit keyboard, it depends of the model after the x550JX. Some of them have a backlit keyboard.
