Notice I said "Remove" , not "Uninstall". We do NOT have any McAfee products installed on any of our PCs. Our previous ISP had never installed any, nor did our current ISP. A search using Control Panel - Programs and Features - Uninstall does not show any McAfee products. There is nothing shown under Outlook 2013 - File - Options - Add-ins either. Nor is there anything to be found under Chrome - Settings - Extensions or Firefox - Tools - Add-ins.
So, where is this POS hiding? How do we get rid of it? It only pops up two of our 8 PCs which tells me it's not a network issue. Forget trying to contact McAfee support. Like far to many companies now, they have no way to contact support other than thru Chat, which I have no time for, or phone on my nickel.

That's actually pretty entertaining, not going to lie. If that is the case, I'm going to have a small laughing fit over it haha

There's really no reason for anyone to have Java on their computers these days. Not only that, but the DOHS has already stated publicly that US citizens should remove Java from their computers, if it's currently installed. Most popular browsers run it internally, for those who need it on webpages; but installed separately, there's no real use for it outside of programming/testing your own Java scripts.
