Replace dell xps m1530 screen with acer aspire 5920 g screen

I have a prob with my laptop's screen, it's totally black and I want to change it using my old laptop screen . They have the same seize 15"4 .
What I thought of doing is using the inverter and the cable of the dell one on the acer screen. Is that going to work ?
