request for help to buy a digital camera

Hi,

I want to buy a digital camera with following priorities 1) price range INR 15000 2) More optical zoom 3) Compact (for travelling) and dont need more advanced tech as gps etc.. what i need is a good quality picture.. plz any expert or experienced person suggest me the best one.
