ROG g751jy (temperature issue)

Hi guys!
when i'm playing GTA5, my CPU temperature goes up to 80C, but when i decrease maximum power management, the temperature decreases rapidly, it becomes 65-70C. the gaming performance stays the same. graphics high with 75fps. So, i wanna know does it effects on laptop? when you decrease the maximum processor management?

ROG g751jy- Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4720HQ CPU @ 2.60GHz, gtx 980m, 16g RAM
