rog mobo not recognizeing headset

I recently got a pair of AKG X7xx the specs say the impedance is 64ohm, the ROG motherboard i own has a feature that aromatically set a variable impedance on headsets but it wont recognize that its a headset so it acts like its a pair of speakers and it sounds horrible.

it works fine in the back but I don't get any special feature when I use the back port

so can i changes this manually or get it to work some how

What do you mean, features? What features? They sound fine when plugged directly into the motherboard rear plugs?

for some idiotic reason they have eq that are built into the program that operate specially with the headphones based on the impedance but i can get it to work because it docent think its a headset

make sure the rog bios is up to date and your using the newest realteck audio drivers. sometime the ones on asus are older.
