Roxio easy vhs to dvd

Solution
CD/DVD Disk Burners and blank media are designed to work at specific burn speed, indicated by x2, x4, x16 etc (times 2, times 4, times 16). This indicates how much faster than the disk playback the disk is written. So if a DVD usually plays for two hours, and your writer says x2, this means it will write a full DVD twice as fast, or for about an hour.

I am using slower speeds when I am writing disks to go in "legacy" players
