That means it will have control over all aspects of the device including hardware and additional software" The only reason microsoft needs control over all aspects of software is to force people to purchase software from windows marketplace

Damn you Microsoft! Drop the ARM based crap (Win 8RT) and put out an x86 tablet. That is the ipad/android killer you SHOULD be coming out with. It should be 100% PC compatible, have WiFi and maybe 4G connection options. Then you will have something that people could DO something with.
