S Video Splitting

My amplifier went out on me and im wondering if a buy a coupler for a s video y cable 4-pin Male to (2) 4-pin Female and use the coupler to connect my output s video cable to the y cable so i can have that go to 2 tvs will it work will i lose quality.

You might lose quality but the only way to be sure is to try it. You could also feed one TV with composite video and the other svideo. Splitting the audio is usually easy.

I was worried about losing quality luckily i walked into radioshack the other day and found a new amplifier on sale for 40 bucks had to grab it
