Hello:
I have a Samsung 65" UN65 EH6000F Screen tested fine but I have no backlight. I tested the led strips. There are 6 strips with 2 segments each. When putting power to the first segment thru the connector no leds lit. when I put power to the +/- solder points nothing lit. Then there are 4 solder points. when I put power to the 2 outer most points all the leds lit. This is the case on all of the strips. It is possible there was a lightning strike. Is there a fusible link? I don't see anything unusual on the power supply board.
What else should I check? can I get away with jumpers? Thanks
worked on tvs and computers for 60 years 1st led problem
Strips : Lumens D3GE650SMB-R1/R2
PS Board: BN44-00670A led connector CNL802 Should be 2- 201 volt outputs leds plugged in 157v leds disconnected 251volts
