Samsung galaxy s5 update problem

I have an at&t samsung galaxy s5 with a t-mobile plan (carrier?). I'm on verison 4.4.2 and I've been trying to update my phone for about 8 months now and everytime I check for updates it says current software is up to date. Obv it isnt up to date. Can anyone help me?

Contact T-Mobile, they are the ones that validate the updates and send it to the phone. Although if your phone is from AT&T I don't know how that will work for an update from T-Mobile. You may need to download a ROM for your phone from T-Mobile and flash it using a computer.
