Solved! Samsung LED 5003 composite black and white

I have connected my EU GameCube to the NA tv via a composite cable, the tv shares it's composite and component slots. How do I tell the tv that this is a composite device as it doesn't seem to be in the settings?

I can access the image on the source selection menu under "AV" but it is black and white showing that it thinks it is a component signal.

I think you just got to have the T. V. on the correct input. Most likely it's gonna be the input the wires are connected too...

The answer to this is that composite outputs are region specific and an EU device will output a pal signal whereas a NA tv is expecting an nstc signal.
To fix this I bought a pal composite -> HDMI adapter.
