Samsung Model SM-T800 Tablet. Can not get Samgung keybord to operate

Does it pair then does it go on to connect? If it does both, there may be a setting in Inputs to allow a external device.

There is probably a button on the keyboard for you to press and hold down while asking Bluetooth to look for devices within range.
