Hello,
i bought a samsung n120. i put it on the first time but the battery died before i could finishing starting up. now when i put it on it goes to system recovery and does not do anything else. when i play around with bios trying to connect it to external hard disk it gives me error media test failure check cable.

You don't need to play with the bios to use a external HDD.

Cancel the system recovery this time, you shouldn't have any problems skipping it.
