Samsung proprietary speaker wire connectors.

Picked up an extremely cheap speakerless Samsung 5.1 DVD/receiver as I already have 5.1 speakers. I found out it uses samsung proprietary speaker connector Would it hurt to use simple insulated female terminal connectors. I don't feel like spending a lot of money for Samsung connectors.

If they fit on the pins and you have 3 ohm speakers t would be fine. But I highly doubt you have 3 ohm speakers

Their actually 4 ohm speakers from a phillips 5.1 theater system

The RadioShack connecter you have linked to will not work if you plan on attaching that one connector to both output leads from the receiver.
