Samsung S4 Hardware Help

I've recently purchased a Samsung S4, I have also installed Drastic (DS Emulator). When I play a Rom the phone heats up extremely quickly, I am aware this is normal, I'm also aware that excessive use of the emulator could eventually damage my hardware, however I was wondering if playing it 1-2 hours here and there every 3/4 days a week, would that damage any of the hardware?

It may. Any time you stress the components, they have a chance of failing. No way to say for sure one way of the other, only that you increase the chances of it failing if you use it at max power and heat like that.
