Samsung Ultrabook not recognizing flash drives on boot

Long time problem I've tried for a year to fix.

Model: NP5403C-A01UB

Flash drives are not recognized. I've tried every conceivable varation of CSM / EUFI booting. I've manually written a EUFI flash drive to boot. I've tried two different hard drives, and three different flash drives. Same results, every time.

The usb ports are read, or powered at least, as the lights on the sticks will light up. However, as you can see, no drive is ever recognized. The drives previously were recognized.

I've pulled the CMOS battery previously as well.

I'm willing to do ANYTHING to get this working again. I was thinking of trying to format a portion of the hard drive to a bootable iso type disk (like a live ubuntu or something), and then install to the other partition.


But I'm at a complete loss as how to fix this.
