SD card blank or unsupported filesystem.

Hello,
I have a Sprint HTC 4G phone and in my notification bar this just pop up (SD card blank or unsupported filesystem.) and in order to fix it it says i have to format it and i think it might earase everything. What should i do?

Try rebooting first.

If it still happens,
Remove your SD card and plug it into the computer to see if the card can still be read.

If so, you may want to back up the contents. (yes formatting will wipe it)

I have Samsung Galaxy Y Duos GT S6102 and its showing Blank Sd Card or Unsupported File system...and when i am formatting it its not reading the same...the computer is also not reading the sd card...What to do...??

This worked for me:
1- put your micro SD into a micro SD adapter
2-insert the micro SD adapter into PC or laptop card reader and leave it there.
3- restart your pc or laptop.
4- check "my computer" and you should see your SD card files (copy all to your PC before you attempt anything else"

Me having same problem.when i clicked the option 'formatt sd card' then too i cant use it.
