I have a 128MB SD card that is nearing full and I want to move on to a
larger SD card. I have tried to copy the iPac backup file to my PC and it
won't copy. It is stored on the SD card.
How can I move the data from the current SD card to a larger one?

Luca:

Have you tried renaming the file extension for the backup file and then
copying it to PC? Rename it to something strange like filename.zzz. (Then
rename it on the way back)

Try this by "exploring" your SD card on your PC in an Windows Explorer. Be
sure your folder options are set so you can view file extensions. That's
found in Windows Explorer > Tools > Folder Options > View > Advanced
Settings.

I'd be curious to know if that works for you.

Thanks.

Put the SD card into a card reader and copy everything across that way?

You make it sound simple! What is a card reader? Where do I get one?

They;re about $8-15. Check www.ebuyer.com as an example of a retailer
who can sell you one. Wal-Mart might have them, as they're popular for
digital cameras, then again almost any photo store might have them
too. Most are USB devices, pulg it in , looks like one or more extra
hard drives, and usually faster than copying direct to the device ;-)
