Sd card is not reconized for brand New venture android

Hello,
I just bought a virgin mobil venture android on 7/10/2012 i used the camera for the first time on 7/11/2012 which was working fine at that time. later that evening when i tried to take more pictures. the message," please enter sd card before using the camera." the phone is not reconizing the sd card

Is it your old sd card from another phone? It might just need to be formatted. The phone should be able to do it itself. If you want to keep the data I recomend getting a usb microsd adapter, or usb cord for your phone, and saving it on your computer first.
