SD Card Won't Mount

My HTC6545LVW phone won't mount my SD card what is the problem. Each time I try to mount the card it continues to say ejected the card is brand new never been used and was formatted by the salesmen who sold me the phone and card.

Then there is either a flaw in the card or a flaw in the phone. Take them back and have them try other ones. They may have to give you a new card or a new phone.
