SDHC saying no known file system

Hi, I have an SDHC card with some photos on which are not backed up. When I try to explore the files on the card windows says that it needs to format the card ( I click no), it goes on to say that the card does not contain a recognised filesystem.


I've been trying different recovery software and such and nothing has worked.

I also found out that there is currently no partition on the card (or not one which is recognised).

Is there anyway of recovering the photos?

how did you got the photo on it? from a camera? mac? pc? ???

What software have you tried so far?
What format was SD card fat 32 , ex fat , NTFS it may effect which is the best software

I would look at Testdisk and photorec from
http/www.cgsecurity.org/wiki/TestDisk_Download
Testdisk can re-create the partition and photorec can recover photographs and many other files
Available for Linux and dos and windows
