Searching for laptop capable of doing slight gaming, any tips?

I mainly need it for writing, but MS Office should work on every device, I guess. So the one thing I'd be happy about is a laptop capable of doing games like:

Silent Hill 1-4
Half-Life 1-2
Jedi Knight stuff, Old Republic, Republic Commando
Deus Ex 1-2
Doom 1-3

You know, so I think games up to like 2010, but nothing beyond that. Seriously, I'm a console player, PC is as I said mainly for writing.

A rather long life and a rather speed one would be cool, also not that thick, maybe. I'm willing to pay up to 500€ (basically 600$), but if that's not needed, that'd be cool.

Any ideas? Would be super-grateful!!!! :')))

All the games you have listed are pretty old, probably 2005 or before. A laptop with a 7th generation Intel CPU that has an Intel HD 620 graphic core. However, you will need to find out if some of those game are compatible with Windows 10.

If you want to play 2010 games, then buy a laptop with a nVidia 940mx which should probably be within your budget.
