Security Question, Virus found in ASUS folder?

Hello, recently my security "service" Norton has picked up a virus in my ASUS folder. I am currently worried about restarting it due to it possibly hurting my hardware and or my ocmputer overall.

If I do restart what will happen, if I dont what will happen?

Can you do a start up scan with Norton? If so do that when restarting.I assume Norton dealt with the infection appropriately.

Remove the virus that won't affect anything, I recommend you to do a startup scan or boot into safe mode then scan
