I work with audio so I'm at least somewhat capable of answering this.
You'll want to look for something with an i7 quad core, 16GB or more of RAM, and an SSD as your main boot disk.
Thanks for the reply
I have just bought a DJ controller, speakers, headphones, laptop stand, and speaker stand.
So right now I don't have very much money left to spend.
I was hoping I could use the money from my HP laptop to go towards the price of the laptop.
my gaming PC can run the software fine, I have an Ivy bridge i5 and 16GB of RAM.
Only saying as higher tier laptops with top of the line hardware tend to make them very expensive.
Honestly, almost anything on the market would be an upgrade to what you have now. I'd personally recommend looking into one of those new Ryzen Mobile notebooks. Plenty of processing power, plus on a lot of them upgradeable RAM.
Since HP 14-bp151sa has only 8GB of RAM, I personally feel that it will create some lagging issues. Because RAM is used by the central processing unit (CPU) when a computer is running to store information that it needs to be used very quickly.
Thanks, anything else you’d recommend that is sub £500?
