Hello,
What reader will retrieve files from this harddrive? A SATA docking station does not work.

Can't you just installit as another internal HDD in your PC?

OOPS! sorry, didn't realize that you are using a laptop.

Do you have a desktop PC available that you can install the hard drive in?

you have to slide off a small plastic adapter that is covering the standard SATA
connectors. ( laptop makers use the adapter because it gives faster assembly )

underneath you have a normal SATA connections
